As Summer draws to an end, and the school year begins, we are preparing for the High Holy Days and a wonderful year of Sisterhood programs and events. This is a very busy time in our lives, filled with transition and planning. As I embark on my final year as Sisterhood President, I am so proud of all the incredible accomplishments of not only the Sisterhood, but our synagogue as well.

Stay tuned for upcoming events such as the New Member Wine and Cheese, Book Clubs, Lunch and Learns, Community Service projects, Mitzvah Day, Prom Dress Drive, and Torah Fund programs. I would like to thank a few people who make my "job" so easy: Linda Altman and Silvia Padron- the two dynamos who get everything done, and never say no to me- you are both truly wonderful and generous souls; Rabbi Adler and Cantor Cohen, for your spiritual guidance and leadership; and the entire Board of Trustees, led so brilliantly by the President, Cindy Matte, who always support Sisterhood and its endeavors.
